For a while, I’ve been telling you that something was changing.

That The Vale was becoming something larger. Something darker. Something with more rooms, more stories, and considerably more locked doors.

Today, I can finally show you.

Welcome to House of Vale.

I didn’t want to build another place where stories simply appeared in a feed and disappeared a few days later.

I wanted them to have somewhere to live.

So I built them a House.

Inside, you’ll find The Library, where the stories begin. The Study, where I leave notes, thoughts, and pieces of myself that don't quite belong in the fiction. And The Vault, where certain stories and extras wait behind locked doors.

Then there’s the Inner Circle.

We’ll talk about that door another time.

For now, come inside.

There’s a reason I built House of Vale instead of simply finding somewhere else to publish.

Some stories need more than a page.

They need atmosphere. Doors. Secrets. Places you're not entirely sure you're supposed to enter.

In my first note from The Study, I wrote about why this place exists—and what I hope it becomes.

The Vault is where I’ll keep premium stories, early releases, story extras, and material created specifically for the people who decide to venture farther inside.

Keyholders can open the first door.

The Inner Circle can open the second.

This is the first Vale Dispatch, but it won't be the last.

Sometimes I'll use these letters to tell you about a new story.

Sometimes I'll show you something I'm working on before anyone else sees it.

And occasionally, I may send you something that probably should have stayed in The Study.

You'll know when that happens.
